St. Ed’s was incredibly fortunate to welcome Mimika to the Jubilee Hall this term, a travelling theatre of remarkable visual effects and transformations all set inside a beautiful calico dome. Taking the children on a non-verbal exploration of the atmosphere, movements, rhythms and sounds of four contrasting areas of the natural world, the young audience was simply spell bound and transfixed by the stunningly crafted props and set used throughout the story telling. From the Desert and circling eagles, to the sea with its kaleidoscope of constant movement, Mimika’s performance was truly spectacular and one that we hope we will have the pleasure of seeing again. Thank you Mr Darrington for arranging such a unique and wonderful experience.
