Children in our EYFS classes enjoyed a very special visit from “Perform” last week. A new kind of drama school, Perform was launched in 2000 with children development at its very heart. The founders had a passion for the performing arts and wanted to create a unique organisation that helps to build children’s self-esteem and life skills. Visiting schools, they help capture the young innocent imagination and create fantastical worlds which the children can be fully involved in. Well, our EYFS children were certainly involved and were soon galloping off on a Wild West adventure to find The Horse with the Golden Mane. During their action-packed journey, the children learnt the Ghost Town song, danced the Hip Hop Hoedown, met Chief Sitting Bull and took off rafting down Banjo Creek! Wow, they must have been exhausted!
