    We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join our thriving Little Ed’s Nursery team in January 2025.

    Experience in an Early Years setting is essential and candidates for this post should hold an Early Years Qualification at a minimum of Level 3.

    Working hours will be 30-32 hrs per week, working across 4 days. The position is available either as a term-time or year-round contract.

  • Estates Assistant

    St. Edmund’s School is looking to appoint an Estates Assistant to provide an effective estates service and to assist the Estates Manager in the smooth running of the School’s operations 52 weeks of the year. We will consider either a full-time or part-time position for the right candidate.

    The Estates Assistant will join a highly motivated and task-oriented Estates Team, ably led by the school’s Estates Manager. The individual will need to share this same commitment and focus, striving, in all assigned duties, to complete them to a high standard and in the time frame required.

    Main duties:

    • Painting and decorating
    • General repairs
    • Grounds maintenance
    • Security
    • Minibus driving
    • Caretaking
    • Assist with setting up of school events e.g. Parents Evenings, Open Mornings

    Person Specification:

    • A team player with a calm and confident manner
    • Courteous and professional
    • A strong, committed and focussed work ethic
    • Able to set high standards and work to these at all times
    • Demonstrate integrity, honesty, loyalty and reliability
    • Possess diplomacy, discretion, patience and humour
    • Clean driving licence with category D1 entitlement preferred
